***Friday, April 7th: “Hub City Hippos Friday”***

Every Friday in 2017, the Generals will become the Hub City Hippos! The team will wear special jerseys and hats all year long. The game-worn jerseys will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the season with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee 811! Get your Hippos gear in the Generals Store!


***Saturday, April 8th: “Fireworks Show”***

Fireworks! It’s the first big Saturday of the season as the Generals open up 2017 at home! Fans can enjoy a postgame fireworks show thanks to Jackson State Community College! Presented by Jackson State CC.


***Monday, April 10th: “Education Day”***

The Jackson Generals will be hosting five education days in 2017! Students who come with their class will be admitted for free, and Sarge will host a pregame program for all in attendance! Lunch packs can be purchased for just $6!

All tips and a portion of breakfast proceeds benefit the March for Babies Campaign, which works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Not only will you enjoy a nice run for a worthy cause, there will be a prize for the best hula costume- so break out the grass skirts, Hawaiian shirts, leis and coconut bras! Whether you run, walk, or hula your way to the finish line, this race will be a fun experience for everyone!

Experience the sounds of Italy in Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture and Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana, a French setting of a Spanish dance in Ravel’s Boléro, a passionate scene from 18th-century Vienna in Strauss’ Suite from Der Rosenkavalier, and a trip down Bohemia’s greatest river in Smetana’s The Moldau.
