The Blues Hog BBQ and Music Fest, is two-day celebration of great music, great food, and family fun!

Beginning on Friday afternoon, visitors can enjoy live music by some of the best bands that have been rising in popularity at festivals across the area. The outdoor fun includes something for all ages, arts and crafts, a kids section, a selection of food styles for purchase and sampling, including BBQ pork, chicken, brisket, desserts, cold drinks, & of course mouthwatering catfish!

Known as Tennessee’s Oldest Marathon, the Andrew Jackson Marathon starts and finishes in historical downtown Jackson. The course, new for 2017, takes runners through the renovated downtown area, along tree-lined residential neighborhoods and around the medical center area with challenging hills and great new landscapes. The AJM17 course offers a half marathon single loop (13.1 miles) and a full marathon double loop (26.2miles), which makes for an awesome Boston Marathon Qualifier. Ballet Arts PRESENTS Coppelia, a classical ballet for all audiences, young and old!

Enjoy the magical and comedic story of love and mistaken identity. Ballet Arts presents full stage productions, featuring beautiful dancers, exquisite scenery and costumes, and compelling drama, fully narrated to ensure understanding of the dance vocabulary for newer audiences.

Each day before the production join in the Dollmaker’s Tea Party! Join Dr Coppelius and see some of his mechanical dolls as well as other characters from the show. Tea, sandwiches and desserts are served to guests in a fanciful fairy tale atmosphere. The Dollmaker’s Party is a wonderful, convenient compliment to the either performance of Coppelia.
