August 11th – 13th: Jackson Generals vs. Biloxi Shuckers
On August 11-13, catch the Jackson Generals, Seattle Mariner’s AA Affiliate, as they take on the Biloxi Shuckers at Pringles Park. Pringles Park is a 6,000 seat Minor League Baseball stadium located in Jackson. Opened in 1998, it has been the friendly confines of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx and is now home to the Jackson Generals. August 12th – Music at the AMP featuring Travis Cottrell
Can you hear it?? The AMP is gearing up for it’s 3rd season and we want you to be a part of it! Several FREE performances are planned for the remainder of the 2016 season!

Bring a picnic basket OR visit a food truck or two! Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome at this family friendly event! Music will begin at 7:30 pm.
Free parking is available throughout Downtown. In the event of rain, performances will be moved to the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market shed.
August 13th – Wings Over Halls Airshow
Sixteenth Annual Wings Over Halls Airshow and 30 Year Anniversary of The Tennessee Homecoming ’86 Celebration
At least 30 Warbirds will fly into the former B-17 training base, for an exciting day of aerobatics, formation flying, and pyrotechnics.
Airplanes scheduled include the B-17, TBMS, P-51, T-6s, T-34, F4U-Corsairs, Twin Beeches, Extra 300L, Sea Fury, Douglas Skyraider, 8 aircraft in the Team Bulldog aerobatic team, and MANY MORE!!

~Children 5 and UNDER get in FREE
The Gates open at 10 a.m. so that visitors may visit the airplanes and pilots on the active ramp, visit food and product vendors, let the children ride the pedal airplanes, and visit the Veterans’ Museum ($2 admission fee).
Opening Ceremonies are set for 1:30 p.m. featuring a parachute jump, short speeches by dignitaries, and the singing of the Service Songs by spectators and a chorus. The flying show is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
